Anxiety is one of our fundamental and most important emotions, which, among other things, is meant to protect us. However, at times, anxiety can manifest in a way that becomes unhelpful, difficult to handle, and limiting to our lives. Some of us encounter anxiety in this way. Either we experience it ourselves, in our family, or among friends. It can be intense to deal with, even for those close to us. We need to become a bit wiser about what anxiety is, what it can stem from, and how to provide the best help for someone experiencing anxiety.
